Great views from the balcony in winter. Short walk to the shops.

Quite small and interior of bathroom is incredible dated and poorly lit.

We booked the apartment for 2 persons & even had a confirmation from booking.com that the booking was was for 2 persons. However, we were charged city tax for 4 persons. A check with Tourismus Grindelwald confirmed that we should be charged city tax for 2 persons only. We have emailed the owner for a refund of the overcharge and included a photo of booking.com’s confirmation that it was for 2 persons. We are disappointed that todate we have not received a reply

The location was good, walking distance from the village centre and from the Firstbahn. Great views from the balcony, I guess it's typical Grindelwald :). The apartment is clean, has pretty much all the facilities for a short stay.

We like the location; beautiful mountain view, close to everything, and the apartment had everything you need.

The only suggestion is that the washer and dryer directions should be clearer. It did not specify that I needed to turn on the water for the washer (usually the water is already hooked up, and you just put in the coins and start it). It took me a while to figure that out. The dryer was not as efficient as those in the USA, but that may just be how they operate in Europe.

We killed a dozen silverfish during our stay. Something needs to be done to remove pest. We notified the agency about it but never got a reply. Temperature inside the apartment cannot be adjusted ( it was too hot). Poor lighting in the bathroom.

The instructions to get into property were very easy to follow and the views from the balcony onto Eiger are beautiful. The apartment is quite modern and cosy.

The bedroom is on the smaller side and could potentially do with an additional socket/multiplier. We couldn’t find a corkscrew in otherwise well equipped kitchen.
