Dreamy View Inn

We spent a week in the apartment, which is lovely, very clean, modern and spacious in a good location near the Chania Old Town. The terrace has a fantastic view, as do the windows from every room in the house. The kitchen was very large and well stocked, and we did our own cooking quite easily. Our host, Anna could not have been more kind or gracious. She did her best to make us comfortable, left us some lovely treats, helped us move our things in and gave us a lot of suggestions for things to do and see in the area.

We found that the apartment was not really suitable for a winter time stay. When we arrived, it was freezing cold and damp and the way it is arranged, it was impossible to get the flat warm and dry even though we were there for a week. Except for the kitchen, which had an electric wall heater, the only heat came from air conditioners, in the living room and bedrooms, and they really weren't up to the job. The hallways remained cold the whole time. Also, the electric circuits blew the first night when we had all the heaters on, so we could only use 2 at a time. For as large as the flat is, the bathroom is tiny, and there was absolutely no place to hang a towel anywhere. They never really dried out. If the flat had additional space heaters and maybe a dehumidifier, it would be more comfortable in cooler months.

We apreciated the easy comunication with the host and she was always available to assist us. The view from entire appartment was amazing(living room, bedroom and balcony). The kitchen came fully equipped and we were able to serve breakfast easily. The apartment was beautifully decorated, with thoughtful touches that made us feel cozy. There was a bus stop nearby which made visiting Chania a breeze.

The lack of parking, to be honest there is no parking at the property, if more than 2 people decide to use it you will have to wait around for the other to move the car, in our case we had to wait 40 minutes to be able to leave and afterwards we parked the car down a steep hill at the street. There was a very strong unpleasand smell (mouldy) in the kitchen area and also the bedrooms if you dont leave all the windows open for a while. The TV streaming box was awful, it would get stuck with the most basic input so watching Netflix was difficult.

Absolutely incredible massive 2 bedroom apartment. Stunning view of Chania and the sunset from the balcony and bedroom. Location a 10 minute drive or 30 min walk to central Chania. Quiet area but walkable restaurants and shops nearby. Big kitchen, big lounge room with massive TV. Great shower with good pressure. Washing machine + drying rack were a big bonus. Host Anna was lovely and accommodating.

Just a heads up - the parking space is shared with another guest, and it is tandem parking, so one person has to move their car for another to get out. This was a little frustrating at times, as we did day trips out of Chania and were under the impression we had our own private park to move freely without having to bother another guest. Aircon dropped in and out at night so sometimes would wake up due to temp changes.

Perfect location with easy access to the centre of Chania. Views 0f the sea from the large terrace. Private parking. We couldn't have wished for more and Anna, our host, went out of her way to make our trip so enjoyable. Will definitely be returning.

The apartment is simply amazing! Whether you are going for a few days or for a longer stay it’s definitely the place to be! The view is the highlight of the stay there! Anna thank you very much and can’t wait to stay at your apartment next time I will visit Chania!

The stay in Dreamy view Inn is definitely the highlight of the whole trip. Every time we were back here from a long day trip, it was always comforting us, like the name, the view will recover you. Some highlights: Anna the host is super easygoing and she is completely helpful as well, easy to reach and always smiles. Location: 5 mins drive to center. There are both supermarkets and cute local backery around in walking distance, we even found an amazing gym in this neighborhood. The kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use! You can definitely cook a full meal here. The shower is warm and water is big! Besides all of this, again, the terrace with the view is everything. We will definitely stay here again if we visit Chania!

Amazing host, there’s a balcony that goes through entire apartment with stunning view especially during sunset. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Location is very good, Chania town is 5 mins away by drive.
