Mariviky Design Apartments

The flat was lovely in a brilliant location bang in the centre of Chania. Communication was excellent with very quick replies to any messages. The few problems I had were quickly and professionally sorted out. Both bedrooms (we had the top flat) were roomy, bright and airy and everything was very clean. I stayed for nearly a month and we were left packages of food, fruit, water and local goodies - which was a lovely surprise. Staying so long the living space was a real bonus, a comfortable sofa and table and chairs for meals really made a long stay a pleasure.

The balcony view was disappointing - a bit of a dumping ground and the back of other properties. The flat was up two steep flights of stairs - definitely not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. I wasn't told of this until just before we went, I think if should be clearer in the flat information as for some that would be a deal breaker. Being in the centre of a lively town there can be quite a bit of noise at night (obviously nothing the flat owners could do about this) yet at other times it was blissfully quiet - expect both!

The apartment is located in the old town and it's easily accessible! The bed was comfortable and there was enough equipment! Full kitchen with everything! I was satisfied during my stay there!

Nothing special

The apartment was cute, comfortable and clean. Stella was kind and willing to help us in everything we asked her. The location is great. Due to a problem with the water we were told to stay till the time we were about to go to the airport.

There was a problem with hot water, (we had hot water only the first and second day) due to Christmas holiday it couldn't be fixed. There was an awkward smell ijn the upper floor bathroom and one can hear every noise from the upper floor.

Breakfast was self catering. Location was excellent, close to everything and very quiet at night. Being a Greek speaker we were able to enjoy the hospitality and company of the neighbours.

Everything was fine.
