Lake Tekapo is a beautiful location, well worth a short stop. Room was small but clean and tidy and had all the essentials. Can not comment on 'host' or 'staff' - whole stay was 'people-less' - which worked well but was new to us.

It is a well designed small room. It feels like a converted shipping container dropped onto a small gap at the back of another premises. Most of the view is blocked because it is located behind a larger building just a few meters away. Nice example of a 'tiny house' and an interesting experience on that basis but a bit expensive for what it is.

Lovely stylish apartment, very nicely finished quality accommodation, loved the skylight so that you could star gaze from bed and the full width sliding doors with balcony. Really nice quality linen and everything was immaculately clean. Really lovely stay.

Great location, friendly welcome, great shower pressure and loved the sky lights!

Duvet was stained. no washing up scrubber

First up, this purpose built relatively new 'cabin' was well appointed, comfortable and location to the centre of Lake Tekapo was a quick 10 minute walk, or even shorter drive. It is super cosy, with a useable kitchenette, sizeable and modern bathroom (great shower!), little but useable deck, and good views over the rooftops to the lake and surrounding mountains. While well appointed it is on the tiny side...keep that in mind even as a couple if you have luggage.

while perfectly appointed, its smaller size, didnt allow for much, if any storage. Keep this in mind if travelling with more than one suitcase or large pack.
