Mack n Tosh - Lake Tekapo

The place was fine overall, and the facilities — especially the kitchen — were actually quite good. Check-in was absolutely fine, and the little hut was in a good location close to the town centre with a fantastic view.

The bed was the most uncomfortable thing imaginable, which really affected the quality of the stay. Unfortunately, the discomfort of the bed brought down the overall experience.

The house is very basic.

Unblocked view of Lake Tekapo You can have stargazing at the balcony of the unit.

You have to carry your own luggage up the high ram.

Good location with a good view of the lake and sunrise. Near to the village centre.

Difficult to find with inadequate directions given after we collected the key from another location.
