GBMark greeted us on arrival, he pointed us in the direction of the Sheppard's hut and met us there to show us around and where everything was, and how things worked. The views were amazing, it was extremely peaceful location. Wildlife in abundance. Plenty of dog walks and fields in which he could safely run free Both Mark & Geraldine were very helpful

GBGBIt was a beautiful Shepherds' hut, with excellent facilities, comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, verandah, garden area, spotlessly clean with pure peacefulness all around. Lovely hosts on a real, working farm with a little lake for swimming. Plenty of walking opportunities though we mostly just relaxed in glorious nature!
The double bed was on the small side but we still slept perfectly. We have no.criticisms of this perfect place for a peaceful retreat and a base for exploring Sussex and Kent.
GBThis property was perfect for me and my dog. Directly outside was grass with shingle paths, perfect for walking my dog. The hosts were lovely. If I’m ever in the vicinity again I will certainly rebook.
Nothing, really. Apart from the potholes that were like craters on the roads in the vicinity.

GBIt was a self catering holiday, but a basket with warm croissants and bread rolls was provided either on arrival, or if preferred the following morning, which was a nice touch, plus local free range eggs (which were the best I have tasted in years), milk, orange juice and more in the fridge. The location was wonderful, with a lovely view of the lake, fields and woodland from the large picture window of the cabin. Locally farmed meat could be bought from the hosts who were friendly and helpful by txt or phone (or in person if you wished). Close to places to visit such as the coast, Lewes and Rye, Tunbridge Wells and great walks if bringing a dog. Good wi-fi and shower.
