My Place Ferdinand

The location was great, the place was amazing and it had a historical feel which appealed to my taste. The beds were comfortable. I especially liked sitting by the window in the morning and watching the city wake up. The host was also very nice and accommodating.

Whilst we were provided with ways to make the apartment warmer, it was a little bit cold. We were apprehensive to turn on the heat too much, to not waste resources. But I guess it's a perk that comes with an "old house". Plus it was easily fixable with an extra sweater.

The location was really in the center with restaurants just a block away. The apartment was really clean with a nice kitchen to cook for yourself. There was a nice balcony to sit and read a book. Tip for restaurants is the Klausen rooftop bar (on top of Central) and Marty.

Very clear instructions received with images for getting into the apartment. Location was great and the size of the apartment was very big. The bed was big as well and you had a lot of sitting areas. Kitchen was nice too, heating was easy to use and water was warm. They had thick drapes over the windows so you could block a lot of the light. Overall the apartment was clean and in functioning order.

We got there arround 3am, there was about 18 degrees in the property so we had to wait another hour or so for the place to get worm. I think they could have left it on a higher temperature as they knew we would arrive very late. The cutlery and dinnerware in the kitchen weren't cleaned properly, they either had water on them or some sort of detergent, which made the cups stick to the shelf. So we had to wash everything we used. The shower was missing a glass pannel so the water would get everywhere in the bathroom and also the water tap for the shower was installed wrong. Cold option was actually the hot water and the other way arround. Until we figured this out we couldn't shower. It just needs a bit of attention to detail but overall we enjoyed our stay.

The flat was equipped with everything needed for a short stay. It was pretty comfy and clean.The apartment is located close to the city centre, so this was convenient for us. The owner was very kind and friendly and provided us with all the information we needed to proceed with the self check-in, which, btw, was very easy to do.
