Apartment at De Soleil Hotel on Ocean Drive

The location was nice, near the beach and shops, but they do give you an incorrect address of Ocean Drive, which puts you at the restaurant, not on Collins where the entrance to the hotel is located.

We were told the room would be ready early, The code we were given did not work at 10:30 am, it did work after ll:00 am but the room had not been cleaned and there was no elevator key. The owner never did apologize ,he said the previous tenant wanted an extended stay and they accommodated because that is how they made their money. He basically said we should be grateful we at least were in a room before noon, not that we could leave without a elevator key because the hotel receptionist would not let us in again so we had to wait over an hour for the cleaner to come to clean the room and give us an elevator key. This rather set the tone for the time we spent there. We were asked when we would check out, I said between 11:30 and noon. Was told that was perfect. At 11am , the next tenants were there trying to enter the unit, they were told it would be ready. We did hurry and vacate the unit so they could enter, they obviously had to wait to have the unit cleaned and their code didn't work, so we gave them ours before we left, along with the elevator keky.
