Domus Castrum

Emmanuella was incredible - she picked us up at the port and brought us straight to the apartment. She made sure to have everything ready for us and our two small children, including high chair, baby crib, and stocked the fridge with wine and beer for us and juices and yogurts for the kids. Also had a small meat and cheese plate upon arrival + a cheese pie in the oven. She went so above and beyond any of our expectations!!! The main beach was a 15 minute (easy) walk away and was so perfect for kids. Beautiful golden sand with lots of space to bring your own towels and umbrellas, and very shallow and sheltered water which was great for our toddlers. Quiet, but right in town and an easy walk to the old village and main port area - either getting lost through the wonderful windy streets or along the main roads.

It was absolutely perfect - I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Tolle Wohnung direkt hinter der Burg. Genau nach diesem Motto war die Wohnung ei gerichtet. Die Vermieterin war super nett und hilfsbereit und hatte uns nicht nur am Hafen abgeholt sondern sogar mit frischen Cheese Pie und Wein zum Abendessen ueberrascht! We loved it!!!!

The host was incredible. Cold bottle of wine and homemade oven baked cheese party waiting upon arrival. Best rental we’ve ever done in 25+ countries.

Domus castrum is a very spaceous, very clean and super well equipped apartment. It is located in the middle of the old town in a very quiet neighborhood. It is also well isolated against heat and all windows have insect protection. The owner is extremely kind and communicates in a very reassuring and respectful way already before the arrival. There was even a lot of drinks and food, including a fresh cooked cheese pie, and soap and bathing products available in the apartment when we arrived. We highly recommend to stay at Domus castrum and would love to come back ourselves.

One of the nicest apartments we’ve booked on booking.com. We lived the details in the design and hospitality. It’s close to the port and located in a very quiet part of the town. We were offered to be picked up from the airport and they even gifted us a bottle of wine and a cheese pie as a welcome gift! Would fully recommend, the windows all have mosquito nets so you can open the windows without any issues. We were also giving a ling list of things to do, to see and to eat

The floor mat in the bathroom doesn’t catch the water and doesn’t dry properly due to the material it’s made of. We had to hang it outside.

Visited Domus Castrum in June with my husband and baby. We had the most amazing stay. The apartment is beautiful and clean, and really well located in Naxos old town! The host Emanuella was so helpful and kind. She even bought our baby some baby food and baked us a pie! I would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!
