Luxury Seaview Family Suite by Little Cabin

There was no breakfast. We bought our own. We have family in Penang and they came to spend time with us, very enjoyable. Enough mattresses for all to be comfortable. Had a great time catching up.

Some of the dining room chairs were a bit scary, if you leant back the top bit came off. Stuck on with black tape. The poor WiFi quality meant we had to use our own data instead.

the public pool is the only thing we appreciate :) also the instruction to check in and check out is clear :)

- pillow case, bed sheet, blanket is super dirty, didn't seems like they changed at all from last customer. Also it look yelloish, god please just buy a new one and change to something new or clean for customer. -the floor is greasy and have hairs on it (and all of it is not from us). There’s also some rubbish nearby the bed from last customer :) I can confirmed they didn't clean up before we came. -most of the items inside homestay is old/broken, (eg, sofa, the dining chair, chair at the living room, TV controller, bed, etc etc) not sure if it’s from second hand or third hand store bc all looks very dirty and broken

The overall cleanliness is good and the view is okay too.

The utensils are worse, we are families but only 1 cup was there n we called the owner n he came n gave us 4 more cups. Then the fan in the master bedroom is slow n air-conditioned is not really cool. Most of the furniture looks like it was temporarily repaired. The dining table chairs were not good I can see its broken but temporarily repaired in the living room sofa looks dirty. Worse thing we have only 1 Spoon for five of us to take breakfast but we call the agent she keeps on saying the housekeeping will pass us the spoon n bowl shortly BUT even more than 1 hour no one came so we got pissed off n hungry so we checked out early at 11am. The pillow in another was sooo bad till i feel I'm sleeping on the bed without the pillow too soft.

First enter the unit - Little Cabin letterbox lock was bad quality - Broken dining chairs - Dining hall one light bulb was fused - Broken shower pipe - Broken basin tap/pipe - Air cond leaking badly in dining hall - No extra toilet rolls (half roll per toilet when check in) - Iron wires was torn (PIC brought us a new one after we raised the concern) - 2 Hair dryers with no reliable brand (we were worried if it's safe to use or will it explode) - Suggest to remove the old and stained mattress lying on the floor without mattress covers - No blankets (PIC sent to us after we raised our concerns to them) - TV was not able to connect to Internet The PIC is responsive and polite in replying to the concern I raised. I paid RM877 for 2 nights stays. The title Luxury Seaview is deceiving as what we got from inside the unit is 3* and poor quality old furnitures. How to recommend this unit to my contacts? Thank you

Actually there are quite a number of negatives to be highlighted. 1) the first thing is the towels in the unit. I specifically checked on it before arriving and when I wanted to use it at past midnight. The towels couldnt be found. Making it hard to me to clean up before sleeping after a long day. I checked in at almost 9pm. No reason for housekeeping to forget the towels I believe. 2) the basin in the kitchen is clogged 3) the shower drainage in the second room is clogged 4) the shower head in the main room is broken/unusable due to the water pressure causing the leakage 5) curtains were not properly hanged. My husband had to rehang it. 6) only the queen bed had comforter. I highlighted this but no comforters were sent. 7) there were tiny cockroaches in the unit. On the bed. 8) the bathrooms had a funky smell. Atleast use air fresheners. 9) the bedspreads were worn out and dirty as well. needs refurbishment or atleast try to make it a homely place. Stated as luxury seaview suite but nothing about it feels luxurious to be honest. Even the beds were rock hard. Im not sure if the owners have used the units before renting but I’m sure if provided with proper setting. This place has potential.
