Cute Self Catering Flat in the Brecon Beacons

Beautiful little flat. Well furnished and a good equipped kitchen. The town itself is lovely and it is a perfectly situated for exploring the area. Parking in the nearby residential area worked fine for me. It is as noisy as it says in the description but I was looking for something central and I am not bothered by it. It is an old building with creeking boards and only one layered windows. It makes part of the charme. I think it's a perfect location for the summer. There was also a fan in the flat.

When I arrived it was cosy and warm but the next day in the afternoon the heating went off and didn't came on again. It good really cold and I put the woodburner on. Since it had been really warm during the morning I thought it was maybe a one of. But next day the same thing happened again. Warm in the mornings but midday the heating was gone. I tried to call Clare and left a voicemessage but no reaction. Since there had been only four logs provided there was not much left for the evening to heat. Next day I called again and got hold of Clare but I got brushed off. She promised the housekeeper would change the setting but it never happened. Next day I just had dumped more wood in front of the door. No comment, no excuse. If you like comfort and cosyness do not book for the winter. The woodburner is nice but the bathroom is still freezing cold. I also found the internet very poorly and the mainlight in the bedroom didn't work.

Great central location with lovely pubs within short walking distance. Comfortable flat with everything we needed to enjoy our stay.

We loved the location with some great walks, pubs and local shops on the doorstep. It was also appreciated to have all the extra little details to make us feel welcome like Welsh cakes, top tips on the local area and cosy decor. We'd definitely love to stay again when we're next in Crickhowell.

Perfect location for visiting Crickhowell, nice clean flat with good facilities, the fan was a blessing as it was really hot during our stay. Will definitely visit again.

The location was very good, also flat was super clean and comfy.

Lack of iron and occasional noise from the shop downstairs.
