Utopia Apartments

A lovely location and apartment. Lou and Paul are great hosts that made us feel welcome; happy to provide information we needed. The apartment had everything we needed for this break.

We loved it all - no complaints.

Spacious, comfortable, well setup for a weekend stay. Great location for the beach, and a nice view. Friendly owner with good clear communication, who was very helpful.

Nothing it’s great

The property itself was delightful in every way. There was enough room inside for me to entertain my son and his young family of four, as well as my portable piano. The sea view was spectacular, especially as the sea was so rough. I have stayed in nice properties before, but what really makes the difference is the little touches provided by the host. I was provided, not just with tea coffee biscuits and milk, but especially nice ones, the kind that you might think twice before buying for yourself, especially the chocolate filled cookies - yummy! The apartment was really warm when I arrived, it was dark wet and windy outside and I really appreciate that Lou came to greet me and hand me the keys as opposed to leaving me to struggle outside trying to find and open the keybox - which I always hate, especially after a long drive with two little dogs. Lou responded to my need for a travel plug / socket adaptor which enabled me to charge my laptop, which has a European plug. Easy onsite parking was also a real plus, especially considering the narrow streets and limited off site parking availability (although there is some public parking within walking distance).

There was nothing that I didn't' like

The location was excellent. Its a short walk to the sea and the shops mostly on the flat just a few hundred yards up hill.

Just be aware to approach the property from the bottom end of the road, nearest the sea front. It's very narrow at the top end.
