12 Settler Sands Beachfront cottage with sea view

ALL YOU NEED IS THERE, COULD NOT FIND THE SAFE.

I did like the cottage and all the amenities.

There was either music, parties, fights and cars spinning tyres in the parking outside the complex all 4 nights we stayed all into the early hours of the morning so we didn't have very peaceful experience. The floors in the cottage were quite sandy, not a big issue for me but someone else might not be happy.

Walking distance to the surf spots and restaurants!

12 Settler Sands Beachfront Cottage is well located with a beautiful view and excellent proximity to the beach. The unit was clean, well equipped and had everything we expected for a comfortable stay. The beds were comfortable and the WiFi worked well throughout. Overall, the cottage itself is well maintained and provides a pleasant seaside break.

The complimentary coffee was unfortunately not great, and only coffee creamer was provided. It would have been a thoughtful touch to include a small carton of milk in the fridge to help guests settle in, especially for that first morning coffee. Our first night, which was a Wednesday, was particularly noisy due to the close proximity to Guido’s and what appeared to be a student night. There was loud music until around 12:30 am, followed by activity in the parking area with cars revving, spinning and spectators cheering, which continued until roughly 2:30 am. This made sleep very difficult. The second night was noticeably better and quiet from about 11 pm onwards.

Good location

Property was dull and dirty and felt like a prison with all the bars at the window - no hot water and geyser broken when we arrived - the overflow run all night and my wife cleaned the windows so we could see the view. The geyser was fixed the next morning but we decided to move somewhere else in Port Alfred the next day.
