Royal Swiss Apartments

This was an excellent location and the stay was very comfortable. Would love to come back here

I’ve made mistake with dates in my booking, so there was no availability on the date we arrived, but Royal Swiss apartments kindly offered me a room in one of their hotels at no extra charge which I am so grateful for. The hotel room was very clean, with lovely bedding, balcony and the mountains view. Thank you so much.

Missing some ustensils in the kitchen, propreté moyenne au vu des standards suisses (notamment la cuisine). Assez bruyant à cause de la route et pas fan de payer la taxe de séjour en espèce

- great location - Ringgeberg - opposite the bus stop and a 3-minute walk to a train and ferry stops - kitchen with nice equipment - nice host and staff - good and fast communication - we got an unexpected free parking spot, which was nice - we were able to leave our food in the fridge at 11 (6 hours before checking in) - the room was not ready, yet the host was really nice and told us to come and leave it in the studio :-) THANKS

- the studio is quite old - no air conditioning, just a fan - the shower was low - you can hit your head easily - sleeping with open windows in summer equals some noise - we had the windows from the busy street - no breakast possible - the biggest drawback was check in - 5 P.M. and check out 10 A.M. - quite surprising - someone knocked at my door at 7 A.M. - I was in bed - easy access from the street as there is no reception - very uncomfortable and noisy bed

We wanted to stay in small community and Ringgenberg is a small community.

The host was terrible. Did not communicate the checkin instructions until I emailed the property. Then she gave me wrong code for the lock box and we had to wait outside the door of the cabin. I was expecting a room in the chalet type building as shown in the online pictures, but ended up getting an add-on shack in the backyard. The rooms were not clean (pleases see the pictures) with hairs on the bedsheet, very dirty drapes, exposed raised nail on the floor. She did not provide us with the Interlaken Guest Pass until the next day. I suggest that Booking.com remove this property from their listing.
