Amore Cove Apartment - Riomaggiore - 5 terre

We stayed here for 5 nights and loved every minute of it. We watched the most incredible lightning storm from the balcony. We enjoyed hiking to the other towns when the weather was decent. The apartment was spacious, very clean and modern.

Wished it had more than 4 plates, 4 Forks, knives, spoons etc. had to keep washing dishes. Lots of steps to get to the apartment with luggage and groceries.

This was a fantastic property. Clean, comfortable and well-appointed it was one of the best stays during our 4-week holiday. Great access to the town on foot, wonderful views including the ocean and comfortable beds & good wifi. We look forward to returning to this property.

Location.. just a 5 min walking distance to the lift to train station. Lovely balcony and great amenities. Free parking .. so a great base at the heart of cinque . Stay here so that you can get to the jetty early in the morning and hv the place all to your self . Owner very responsive

Perfect accommodation for two couples, very well appointed apartment, big bed with crisp white sheets & fluffy white towels. Large balcony with a great view towards the sea & able to watch walkers tackle the steep climb opposite to Maranola. Would recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Can't think of anything. It's a bit of a walk to get there, but then look at where you are.

Location was excellent, close to all town amenities. There was a hill to climb which could be challenging for older people or those without good mobility. The view was amazing from the balcony.

The upstairs bathroom was a challenge for tall people to shower without hitting their head on the ceiling. It would have been good to have 2 keys for the apartment as we were two couples who weren't always together.

This apartment is absolutely amazing, with the most incredible views from the balcony. The whole apartment is very spacious. There was 4 of us, 2 in each room but you could easily have 6 of you as there is a huge sofa bed in the upstairs bedroom. Even with the sofa bed open you would still have loads of space. There is also a huge build in wardrobe upstairs. The beds had plenty of room amd were so comfy. Plenty of facilities in the kitchen. The courtyard area has plenty of space and is off the downstairs bedroom. The place was very clean and the host was so lovely. Air con in every room was a dream. If you are there to hike then the walk from Riomaggiore to Manarola starts opposite the house. This hike takes about 45 minutes. I've added a picture of the view of the start of the walk from the balcony. I would definitely stay here again and Riomaggiore is my favourite of the 5 villages.

None of these comments are what i dont like, these are just comments of things to take note of. The ensuite upstairs is an actual shower now, not a bath over the shower as seen in the current pictures. Which was much better than expected. It still has a low ceiling but I am 5ft6 and it was perfectly fine. There is an ensuite downstairs too which has high ceilings so if you are tall then use the downstairs one. It really isn't an issue. The kitchen is new and modern and has been updated since the current pictures on booking.com. Also the downstairs bedroom has been updated to what we saw in the pictures.

The location was great. One of the best in the village.

We don’t have anything to complain about. The aircon was a problem on arrival but the host got it fixed ASAP.

beautifully decorated and well equipped couldn’t of asked for anymore, and the view is amazing we enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine

This is a beautiful and large apartment with a fantastic balcony to sit out on and enjoy meals and drinks. The apartment is well equipped with everything including Prosecco and Nespresso as welcome gifts. The hosts met us at the train station and helped us with our luggage up the hill to the apartment. They are very responsive to any issues that arise and they are really just a quick text away. They really take pride in the cleanliness of the apartment and it shows. Claudia said that she cleans each apartment as if it were her own. John and his wife are excellent hosts. Only caution is at the apartment is at the top of the hill, but that gets you to the incredible views.
