Amore Cove Apartment - Riomaggiore - 5 terre

The apartment was in a great location for us. It was not in the middle of the tourist section but close enough to the tourist section to be extremely convenient; a quick walk through a pedestrian tunnel. It was also very close to the train station; a short but steep walk. The apartment was very clean and cozy. We loved both the balcony and the patio. The pictures represented the accurately. Chiara met us at the train station and walked us to the apartment. There was a language barrier as we don't speak Italian nor Spanish and she doesn't speak English. Communication was great through WhatsApp. A small suggestion is to have some instructions regarding the air conditioning as we didn't realize you had to turn on the switch to get the air conditioner to work in the bedroom on the main floor. We would stay there again.

difficult to get in at first as it is behind security and has private parking so access was a challenge. the owners and care takers only speak Spanish and did not respond when we needed them on check out .

We loved this home! It has the most beautiful view. It was clean and spacious. We were met at the train station and got help with our luggage as walked to the home. The hosts are attentive and caring. We would absolutely recommend it and would stay there again! The only thing that I would say to future visitors is that the shutters in the main downstairs bedroom DO shut to block the street light outside. We didn’t realize that at first and wish we had.

There is nothing not to like.

Beautiful big balcony with incredible views. The coffee maker. The nice wine glasses, crockery and saucepans. Comfortable beds. Two big spacious bathrooms. Table outside. Table inside. Just felt spacious and lovely.

Upstairs bathroom had low sloping ceiling, so we generally walked around bent over so as not to bump our heads, so that was the only negative, but we would be happy to stay here again as all the positives more than made up for this.

The large balcony gave us the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular view. The apartment totally met our expectations. Very well equipped, but a coffee pot would have been nice (for us Canadians). Expect to walk a very steep incline and steps to the apartment, but it is definitely worth it.

We liked everything about the property.

The location was spectacular - it was high above the town but surprisingly quick to get to. The space was perfect for a family of four; my husband and I slept in the room on the first floor and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom had a bit of a slope to the ceiling, which made it feel cozy for our 11-year-old boys.

I can't think of anything. The hosts thought of everything, including a welcome bottle of prosecco, which was so lovely
