17 South Street Top Flat

A clean and tidy flat based at the top of the house, there are a fair few flights of stairs so something to be aware of if you have mobility issues. Great location.

The oven is very dated and unable to read the decals on the oven switches as these had been warn off, also the light indicators for the individual pan filaments had fallen off, no oven instructions and personally as an electric oven felt it had the potential to be unsafe. We had to google the instructions and use trial and error to get it working. The hairdryer left for the use of guests was also unsafe for use, we bought our own and left a message for the owners. I thought pat testing was a requirement for electrical equipment?

Lovely flat. Spacious and in a great location near the spa. Easy entry with a key pad. There is plenty of on street parking with a permit. I managed to get parked very close both times on a bank holiday. Price was great for Easter. Would definitely re book.

The seagulls were extremely noisy at 5.30am every morning but it is the seaside so wasn't too surprised! It is at the top of the building so lots of stairs.. Fine for us but maybe not for the elderly or people with prams etc.

The location was very good, cosy and spacious flat.

I could feel the wind through the window while sleeping at night. Other than that was great.

Beds are very comfy, the whole place is very clean. It’s a wonderful apartment and everything you need is included inside it.

The location was cental and good. The property was very clean. There was free parking with the property.

There was no Microwave at the property

Immaculate. Very clean and heating easy to operate but did not use it much as unseasonably warm. Easy to check in and did not need owner but they would be on hand if we did. Lovely furnishings and touches. Very quiet as a top floor flat and spacious including its own stairway and bedrooms. Beautiful area only 3 minute walk to South Bay seafront and beach and 5 minute walk into town along beautiful esplanade. Hope to stay again due to location of flat, how quiet it was and lovely flat.

Lots of stairs to get to flat and to carry bags and shopping up to but then it was a top floor flat and so quiet as a consequence so trade off.

i loved everything about it it was simple

I thought the apartment was very well appointed, clean and modern. Shower was lovely and beds very comfortable. Good location for Scarborough Spa and cliff top tram. Parking permits supplied to park outside/nearby.

It was all good, however no microwave (should you need one which we didn’t!) And a lot of stairs but our two year old grandson managed them very well. Also I don’t think seagulls sleep! haha
