This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. Please inform Charles Hope Southampton Centre in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. All guests must undergo an ID verification process and completion of our security deposit invoice. Guests are required to upload ID for all guests via a secure platform after booking. Please be advised that until these procedures are completed, we are unable to provide check-in information. Guests living within a 15 miles radius of the property will be required to pay a refundable security deposit of £500

"A Disappointing stay, I would not stay here again."

Location was good , the interior was lovely.

I must say that the whole way of gaining entrance to our apartment is very stressful. The car park space we were given and charged £15 a day for was taken. It took us ages to find the correct building and door ! Then when we eventually did we gained access to the main door after having to call guest services and be put on hold . Once we eventually gained access to the building Then we had to call again to gain access to the apartment which took us 25minutes to get through, as no one was answering the phone !!  Once we had access we were met with a very strong smell in the apartment.This was horrible, it makes us feel sick , we bought air fresheners and it did not go away. We informed guest services who unfortunately did nothing to resolve this ! It's extremely disappointing that there is no information on how to gain access to the communal areas such as the gym ! This again took us ages to find !  Only having one key to access everything is very inconvenient for a two bedroom apartment, and you need the key at all times to gain access anywhere! We were very disappointed in the whole set up and found what should have been a relaxing stay very stressful. I feel that these could have been avoided if you had more clear information and were better organised.  I do not feel this apartment is good value for money .

"Pleasant"

It was fine we had to call the helpline and they let us in remotely into the property. It was fine but had to call about 3x

We asked for a king bed and twin rooms. We was not given the twin and the king was most definitely a double. All rooms felt like double beds.

Location was excellent. It was basis but clean.

Was a bit bland and the beds would have been better with a topper. It was very hot but there might have been air conditioning.

"Very hard to contact anyone to get into the building and get the apartment keys. Bad experience!"

I was never able to physically meet anyone to get our apartment keys. They had me download an app that was suppose to give me the code to get into the apartment but it never worked. We sat on stairs for hours waiting to get into our apartment and finally a cleaning person unlocked the door for us but we never had a key to lock the door or get back in when we left the apartment. It was a very bad way to do this. The apartment had stains on the carpets and the furniture was unkept
