Strong smell throughout the flat. Bathroom not clean

The facilities in apartment like kitchen wares are sufficient to use. There is also spare mattress and douvet for use. Iron, Iron board, hanger and drack for drying cloth are all there. The bed mattress is very comfortable. Prompt advice and response from the host.

The location is bit away from city center but that is as expected and luckily with bus stop nearby. The instruction for check-in is detailed and with video but there is no sequence so it caused confusion. We based on video to get to garage, then to bike storage but in fact we need to get into garage then refer to another separate email for entrance and code. We asked the resident there for entrance and they cannot answer too. Hot water supply is not stable which we thought the boiler was off in the first night. Then find out we have to take shower ~6-8pm. If we missed the time slot, have to wait until like 2am. I believe this is not issue of the apartment but the building. When we get use to the time, actually that is fine.
