The fact that it's located away from the buzzing noise of the CBD and that it was conducive for my 1 year old child. The reliability of the manager day or night. I was pleased and plan to be a regular anytime I'm in BFN. Oh and the staff was friendly. My room always clean. By the way forever grateful for the Cot. 😇😇😇

There is nothing to complain about coz what appears on the online pics is exactly as it was on arrival.

Summer Palace never disappoints! Marianne is an absolute gem of a host, and her and her team make the most divine breakfasts that are well worth the money!!

I cannot fault a thing!!!

The place is beautiful and the area has wildlife. There were nice touches in the rooms and it looked very elegant and premium.

Unfortunately, my experience with management was disappointing. In the morning, I approached the manager, Marianne, to ask about breakfast. She impatiently informed me that breakfast needed to be requested the day before. I explained that I was not aware of this policy, as it was not clearly stated during booking. She responded that she could not assist me, mentioned that the chef was not on shift, and said she would update the Booking.com information in the future. Her attitude in handling the situation was disappointing and unwelcoming. The shower water in our room was cold. I raised this issue with Marianne, and while she attempted to help, the problem was not resolved. We were asked to try a second room but the issues were the same. She offered us to try a third room but as it was already late, we had no choice but to take a cold shower. I understand that issues can arise that are sometimes beyond one’s control. However, what truly matters in these situations is the attitude and approach toward guests. Unfortunately, this was lacking during our stay. The property is undeniably beautiful.

The host is incredibly arrogant and rude. Additionally, there was no hot water in the bathroom.

Room was perfect for a couple and very nice features

The hosts were amazing! Friendly and acted as local info and guides.
