"I now only stay at Summer Palace when in Bloemfontein"

Very convenient and beautiful. The host was very nice and helpful. Staff very friendly. This is now my go to place when in Bloemfontein.

Like most Guest Houses, some (minor) maintenance might be due, but all round still my go-to-place.

"Would have been perfect with pillows and towels"

No towels and pillow slips even after I asked them to bring it. This spoilt our stay. Also the room was not ready when we arrived at 13h50 and was not even ready at 2pm when I had previously arranged check in

"Beautiful suite, but not easy to sleep in as to bright."

We were upgraded to a bigger suite, but afterwards we realized that the more executive suite didn't meet our families needs. There was no undercover parking for our vehicle, and we where unable to sleep due to the bright lights from the advertising board shining into the main class door that has no covering. We tried to cover it with little success. Both me and my husband was sick later that night after drinking some coffee, most probably due to the water not being clean. We ended op leaving as soon as we could, as we didn't feel that we where getting the rest that we anticipated.
