Nida's Place

Nida and her entire family were super welcoming and friendly. We always felt well looked after and really enjoyed the stay there. The location is fantastic, as it is close enough to town to be able to reach everywhere within 10 minutes whilst also in a rather quiet area with less traffic. Beautiful garden and the water heater in the shower worked really well which was great for those post-rainy-surf showers.

Extremely nice people, very helpful. Very good location and quiet with beautiful garden. Motorbike rental possible, cleaning whenever you wanted. Thanks for evrrything :)

Sometimes not enough fresh air in room, kitchen not so clean.

No wifi, some bugs and a lizard in the house. difficult to find because no signage (iron gets across from Gilda’s store if you’re looking for it).

Nida is super friendly and welcoming. Whenever you run into her she tries to have a chat with you and is always giving you tips about the island or asks if you need anything. The property is really nice with a cute garden and she even has 2 bunnies. The location is fantastic right next to the cloud nine. The room is really spacious and the toilet is seperate from the shower. It has a kitchen outside for you to use with a free drinking water.

Unfortunately, while we were visiting it was raining everyday and the room took on a musky smell because nothing was able to completely dry at any time.

Perfect place to stay if you want to be near the GL area and only a 2min scooter ride to Cloud 9! the room was spacious and clean, nice garden and terrace. The owner, Nida, was so friendly and helpful with everything!! 10/10 would recommend!

Friendly host who welcomed us to her home. The place is located near Cloud 9. We liked the homey feeling of this homestay and how it was located away from the hustle and bustle of General Luna.

It would be helpful to have signage out the front of the property as we weren’t sure if we were in the right place.

Ate Nida, the host was very nice to us during our stay at the property. Some of the things she did for us, which we are very grateful for and did not expect, include the following: she allowed us to leave our stuff early, since we arrived in the morning; provided motorcycle rental; offered surfing lessons; even offered us a drink!; she also contacted airport transfer for us. In addition, she is easy to talk to and contact when needed. Thank you Ate Nida for your kindness and friendly smiles. We look forward to staying with you and visiting Siargao again in the future.
