Very spacious apartment. Nice location. Good price. Good speed of internet.

Fridge was broken, but was replaces in couple of days. Require deeper cleaning, a bit dirty. Require small maintenance: to replace mouldy silicone sealant in the bathroom, grease doors as they are making noise. It will be nice to have Dishwasher in apartment.

The property itself self is ok, 3 spacious bedrooms, large kitchen and living room and close by to the train station. However up a very long and steep hill which takes at least 25 minutes to get to from the beach

We had requested check in between 2-3pm. At 2.20pm I received a message saying we were expected at 2 and that the person meeting us wasn't waiting. The keys were in a lock box but no explanation where the lock box was. Also there was no way to get through the locked gate to the apartment block so we had to wait for someone to come out for us to get in. On day 1 we were unable to get in to the apartment. The door wouldn't unlock and we waited outside for over an hour for someone to come and help us. The person who arrived couldn't open the door either, she ended up changing the keys and managed to open the door in the end telling us it was a brand new door and no one else had any problems. This was annoying when we had watched her struggle herself with the lock. We had tickets to a show that evening and rushed to get ready as we were now late but before leaving we tried the lock one last time as we were planning a late night and didn't want to be locked out at 2/3am. Basically the Yale lock wasn't working. The mortise lock was fine but the Yale kept catching meaning we couldn't guarantee getting back inside. We missed our show the main reason we had come over to Benalmádena and we ended up staying in but specifically requesting that a locksmith come the following day. We had no response from the agent despite multiple texts and calls until 7pm. By this time we had been given no choice but to tape the Yale lock down so we could lock the door using the mortise lock. At 7pm we received a rude messages telling us not to manipulate the lock and that there was no issue with the lock so she was not sure what our problem was. This wasn't true as we had struggled and so had the agent in front of us. This was a new door so must of been fitted for a reason. I called to express how u happy I was with the late and rude message and was told she had been off work that day which we were not informed of the day before.

The property was a great size and in a good location

So many things did not work such as the fridge! This was a particular problem as we had planned to cook breakfast and have snacks for the children, we ended up spending way more money than anticipated due to this. The electricity sockets were all loose. The front door had huge cracks around the frame and was very difficult to open - did contact owner but nothing was done. The beds were so hard we may as well have slept on the floor. The shower flooded the bathroom every time we used it. The toilet flush was broken, but luckily my husband managed to fix it. A lot of the crockery was chipped. There were silver fish running alive in the cutlery drawer. The hob was cracked which made me nervous to use it. The air con didn’t work properly, only the fan worked which ultimately just recirculated the hot air in the apartment.

The location of the apartment, the facilities, everything nearby. Good beds in 2 rooms, in the room at the back the matrasses were harder. Plenty of storage space. Large modern bathroom with walk-in shower. Overall really nice stay!

-We received a mail to check in online but because there was no reference to the name of the apartment itself, I did not trust it. So I did not check in upfront until the host informed me that I should check in via the link in the mail. It was very time consuming. - Then we took a taxi to the address. We could not enter because it was with a key or batch which we did not have yet. Luckily a resident opened the gate. Then we had to search for the apartment, It was difficult to find it. It was very unclear were we had to be exactly also on which floor. Better instructions are advisable.

Apartment was in an ideal location, modern and clean and perfect size for my family. Would recommend staying here.

Check in was not ideal, Host was running late. We had 2 sets of keys, only 1 with stair door fob, also did not have fob to get in gate which meant my 54 yr old husband had to jump a wall to let us in, not ideal! HH Host advised us she was waiting on the fob and would send me a phone number to call to get in, still waiting on the number!!! Also socket in single room still hanging off wall
