Angolina Apartments

It was close to the beach.

We booked a one bedroom apartment with a balcony on the beach.. And got a studio with no balcony above a noise bar with a beach and a container port The building had a spiral staircase that moved when you used it as there were bolts missed to secure to the floors. The windows and fly screen didn't close properly which led to intrusive noise and smells from the bar downstairs (one floor below) and numerous bits where insects could get in. After a rain storm we had a flood which came in through the frames of the windows, which we cleaned up after waiting several hours for someone to come to help. The electrics were hit and miss we had 3 mornings without electricity which meant we could not even open the shutters to let in light never mind anything else. The plug sockets were loose on the wall in places and or just cut out in others. The Tv had a picture but the sound vibrated so much it was unusable. The bathroom had obvious flood damage which meant you had difficulty closing the door. When I called the owner I felt I was an inconvenience and this feeling grew on the next call

We had a minor problem with the code for the electronic lock to get into the appartment but after contacting the host we got a reply less than 2 minutes later than solved the problem.

The view from the windows and balcony looking straight out and to the right was great, but to the left just across the bay is a container port. There was hardly any noise from the port and if you didn't look that way you wouldn't know it was there.

The location was perfect overlooking a public beach. The restaurant downstairs was also very good.

Good value for the money. Excellent location few steps from the beach.

Need renovation. Cleaning should be improved.

Great location, friendly staff, we have tried all of the apartments now and all of them have their own little features. A big thanks to Vincent, Angelica and the rest of the team for another great stay.

Bathroom needs updating was the only slight issue

Excellent sea side view with all the necessary kitchen utilities you can find .
