Angolina Apartments

Nice view of the beach, even though there is a harbor there. Near bus stop. There was a electric adjustable bed in one room.

The floor was dirty and the pillows hadn't been washed. We were without electricity for two hours, but luckily it was resolved. The windows aren’t insulated, and you can clearly hear the street noise, especially when cars go by.

When we got to the front door (26 Apr 2025) we were unable to enter as the door codes given to us in Feb 2025 were incorrect. I called (another person's phone as mine was with a flat battery) the person I used to contact via Booking.com website and told him we are locked outside, and we will wait for him to show up; he did not, later telling me he passed on the message, and he was helpless to do anything more !! Then we got the help of another kind person who called with his mobile and spoke to the owner (both myself and my wife also spoke to him). By this time, we were angry, and when my wife spoke to the owner, he hang up on her. Eventually the owner told us the 4-digit code for the key box - the codes given to us in Feb were useless; we had no reason to assume there were other possible codes, When eventually we got in the apartment (No 2) we were in for another shock. In short, there were missing and unusable items, breakages, bathroom door unable to close, shower with mouldy screen and partly blocked drain, faulty TV eventually went dead, faulty power sockets, incorrect Wi-Fi name and password, foul smell (initially) in lift and as you enter the premises. The basement where the washing machine was a shambles of items on top of each other, with holes and mould in the walls and ceiling, cockroach activity. The arrogant owner told us that we got what we paid for !! On another visit by the owner, he offered us a cash discount and asked us to let him know how much - I did so, but he never paid up or even spoke to us again about this. We had power failures (apartment/premises related) three times. We ended up with issues till the end of our long stay (26 Apr to 01 Jun 2025). One of their staff told us that their Angolina Apartments are 'budget accomodation' though they were showing 4 stars on the Booking.com website; Booking.com did not respond about this.

The AC works well. The bedding The coffee machine and the free coffee The fresh water in the fridge. Some of elements of decor : the floor, the cheminee in the bedroom, the folding doors

The smell of cooking from 10am till midnight coming from the downstairs restaurant. The terrasse floor was really dirty. The WiFi wasn't accessible. The windows were dirty. The kitchen floor was stained.

Apartment was good, in a good location for beach, restaurants and amienities. Close to airport.

Loud noise from people talking in the bar below the apartment, most nights until past 2am. Spoilt it for us..

The location is great, with nice restaurants around as well as nice area in general. The view is also beautiful

The windows are right above a restaurant, so it's not really private or quiet. There were no spare bedsheets or towels as expected for a 5 days stay. No washing machine and dryer as advertised so it was misleading and made us pack less thinking we'll wash instead Also, the fact that the code is 1234 made it really unsafe, and the constant light on on the hallway made it uncomfortable to sleep at night

Apartment from the location nothing else. It's a shame this property has so much potential but seems like the owner doesn't want to spend any money to maintain it or make it nice.

Not very clean at all. Bef was broken on its last leg. Seems like it had bed bugs. No blankets or proper duvet as such. Anyone with lung or breathing issues please be careful the damp in this place can be dangerous. Mould on the walls never been cleaned, holes in the walls and gaps around the windows which have been stuffed with tissue instead of being fixed. Wires on show all in all a very unkept sad property that needs major work attention and love. It's a shame because the location is beautiful.

Location is on the public beach, with a great sea view. It is near the public bus station, on 20 minutes from airport! Kitchen it is well equipped, you may prepare your breakfast fast. Food store are placed near your place!

On the floor lever is the restaurant with terrace. Good think is that you can acces fast those facilities, but kitchen smells are present everywhere! I had live with this!

The best location ever!!! Very good communication with the owner.
