Ramblers Rest Modern Cottage-Perfect Views of Ben Nevis

The apartment was spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed for a short or long stay.

There were some maintenance issues, including door locks that were difficult to operate and kitchen equipment whose setting marks (temperature, etc) were either completely worn off or so much they were hard to read. Some more instructions on how to operate the kitchen and entertainment equipment would have been useful.

The oven was broken. No coffee machine as written in the description.

The location was tucked into a quiet neighborhood cul-de-sac and was very private. The cottage was very clean and furnishings were nice. It had all the kitchen accessories needed for us to make our own dinner comfortably and spend a nice evening.

The front door locking was a bit tricky and it took us a few minutes to get it so it would be closed and locked. The hot water heater in the kitchen and how it worked was also a bit unclear - we did receive the instructions, but the water got warm and never very hot (perhaps we didn't wait long enough?).

The apartment was very spacious, clean, tidy and well equipped. The host was very friendly and helpful. Great location to access Fort William, Ben Nevis and nearby.

The temperature of the shower could have been easier to manage but it's just a minor point. It's a very spacious bathroom and the toiletries were good.
