Oceana Sea View Apartments - Kamala Beach

The location was within a walk of the beach & shops. A few supermarkets were also within walking distance plus a laundry. The gym was good. Large infinity swimming pool. Lovely view from apartment over Kamala Bay. An added bonus being able to watch Netflix.

Very few loungers around pool - no onsite restaurant although there were plenty close bye.

location. view. good value , good communication with property managers, cleaned twice and change of bedding which was great .

The apartment was nice enough, infinity pool ok

There was no spa, restaurant no rooftop dining area,, bar or snack bar as advertised they had clised and booking.com is still allowing adverts stating all of them are available. Our apartment was booked through nooking.com but managed by a property management company who also advertise all tge dacilities available. Even tge oceana apartments website shows a bar, restaurant rooftop dining, snack etc. Surely Booking.com should carry out checks to make sure the advert is truthful. Whrn we complained to them the told us to take pictures , but i asked how could i take photos of something that is not there. Still waiting a week later for response yo our complaint. The swimming pool area only had 5 workable sun loungers which considering there must be at least 40 apartments ..if everybody decided to go the pool there would be chaos. WORST OF ALL if you are in block A there was no mention on adverts that it is a hike up to the block, you have to get lift up to 7th floor then walk past pool then over a metal gantry then through tower block b garage then up two very steep slopes ...NOT GOOD FOR PEOPLE WITH MOBILITY ISSUES . In the end we moved to a different hotel as my husband has a bad arthritic knee and he could not manage the hike anymore. Booking.com had not been helpful at all.in resolving the problem

The location was very good as the apartments are close to everything Kamala has to offer. A Big C supermarket is on your doorstep together with an excellent morning market for local Thai food. Restaurants and bars abound within a few minutes walk. The beach is a 5 minute stroll. The view from the sea view balcony was lovely and we often sat there in the early mornings and late evenings taking in the sights and sounds of this less frenetic part of Phuket island.

Being an apartment rather than a hotel, I would have preferred more than a once weekly change of sheets and towels.
