Calm, serene, private

The short hikes and walks were well marked and were the best part. The accommodation was clean and tidy, so no complaints in that regard at all.

The outside patio and braai area of Red Earth (our accommodation) is not safe for adults, children or dogs. We weren't advised beforehand that the house Red Earth is attached to the owner's residence. Red Earth itself is showing severe signs of neglect and disrepair, inside and outside, and certain parts of the house eg the shower, etc, need distinct attention and work done. Our review might have been different if we were accommodated in one of the other two accommodation alternatives on the farm.

Breakfast n/a. (Made ourselves "Brunner" {breakfast lunch dinner} after hiking the trails in the morning. Farm geographical location absolutely outstanding. A wonderful chillaxing few days of deafening silence with nothing to do and all day to do it

Perfect stay. Easy check in. Clean, comfortable. Beautiful scenery. Quiet and peaceful. If you love nature it's the perfect place to be. You away from everything, people, traffic, technology. It's a great way to make memories with loved ones, as there's no TV or radio. And plug points just for charges only, no ironing etc. I loved the place overall.

You need a proper high vehicle, 4x4, SUV etc to get there, it is way out of reality. During rainy weather you would get stuck using a normal vehicle. I wish there was a fire pit or braai stand available on the patio.

This stunning little cottage is an absolute gem. Nestled among rolling hills and surrounded by beautiful trails, it’s the perfect escape into nature. After walking the trails to the cave, you can easily cool off in the refreshing, cool water of the reservoir — a welcome reward after exploring. The setting is peaceful and picturesque, with incredible birdlife all around and the unforgettable sight of baboons moving across the distant hills as they go about their morning routine. What truly sets this place apart is how welcoming it is — comfortably accommodating all six of our fur babies, which made our stay even more special. Waking up to the sounds of birds and soaking in the calm, natural beauty was pure magic. A perfect retreat for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect with nature, and enjoy a truly special countryside experience.

Allan is a wonderful host. He prepared so well for our 25th Anniversary getaway. The location is breathtaking.

Nothing

Kokopelli is a great place to go and just relax!! Remote and very private chalets. Chalets are beautiful and very comfortable. Perfect for a relaxing and romantic couple getaway.

Not much negative things to so. Just note the dirt road will not be accessible with a small car. You need a SUV or Bakkie preferably a 4x4. Especially when it has rained. There is not much to do on the premises it self.
