Garden Apartment

Lovely apartment, The host was exceptional with some lovely touches, they provided bread, milk, eggs, butter, homemade marmalade and tea and coffee, ohh and biscuits!!. The flat was clean throughout, the beds were comfortable, we really enjoyed our stay.

It is a little on the small side, however it suited us for our needs.

Jayne and Alastair do everything in their power to ensure guests have a wonderful experience, and respond cheerfully and helpfully to any queries The beds are dreamily comfortable, and towels plentiful. Every room is well equipped , including the ingenious compact kitchen and the spacious living room with lots of books and games for indoor entertainment. The approach to the apartment, a sloping path alongside the house, is well lit, with a handrail. Breakfast included tasty, high quality local ingredients and weparticularly appreciated the generous fruit bowl and home made marmalade.

The property name , on the front wall of the house, is not easy to see after dark. As the neighbouring houses also have names rather than numbers we had to ring from our taxi, but fortunately Alastair came straight out to guide us to Bella Vista.

The hosts at this property could not me more accommodating or helpful. They genuinely care about the experience of their guests and nothing is too much trouble. In fact I would say they go above and beyond what you might expect from finishing touches such as quality jams and coffee available to games and books to keep the younger and older ones occupied. We really enjoyed our stay

Lovely host , made us feel welcome . Nice and private apartment . French doors to a nice little private garden. Well stocked , kitchen and bathroom. Plenty of towels and blankets

A cosy well equipped little apartment with lovely hosts. Liked what the owners had done with the space, such a cute well equipped kitchen. The beds were so comfy and we enjoyed our stay.

Jane and Alastair offer a compact immaculate apartment. It is truly a home from home property and has absolutely everything one might need. Upon arrival it was also stocked with tea, fresh coffee, milk, eggs, bread, butter, jam, marmalade, honey, fruit, condiments, hygiene and cleaning products, tissues, two tv’s, hoover, iron and ironing board, games, tissues, radiators, fans, the list goes on. The location was very good, quiet, not overlooked with a well kept garden. It deserves a ten out of ten and was excellent value for money. We would stay again.

Just a small point regarding directions which can be greatly shortened. The directions to the property should state not to take the ‘local’ turnoff to Kingskirkswell. Also, that the property is just passed the first bus stop on the right, opposite Woodland avenue, approximately 100 yards after you turn into Cole’s lane.
