Its what we needed, just bed for night and place to shower

Noise from street echoing through arch way

We had the room on the top floor overlooking the river which was lovely first thing in the morning. The bed was super comfy and the balcony on the back was private. Fresh bedding and towels were provided, along with hand-wash and kitchen cleaning products.

It's a little underwhelming when you first walk through the street door, and even though there are 'No Smoking' signs all the way up the stairs, it does reek of stale cigarette smoke. That being said, the room itself was clean and smelled fresh.

Our stacation was great, very comfortable and close to the pavillion which is where we usually go.

We didn't like the door bolt. It' needs fixing and without fixing it makes the door vunerable to lock.

Location was perfect. Close to everything. Shower was good. Hot and good flow. Room was cool in the heat.

Not clean in the corners. No tea towel. Only one dessert plate. No vegetable knife. No shelf in the shower. Soap dispenser broken. No iron or ironing board. Would have preferred smaller bed rather than two beds pushed together. The decor was odd but provided some amusement.

At first it seemed good, decent size, not too badly presented, seemed like good value for money. Kitchen had just enough for if 2 people were staying there. Stayed nice and cool in the hot weather. Excellent location!! Quiet location in the evenings. Looking at the reviews I think maybe my apartment needs some tlc, others seem to have better reviews.

Bed was not comfy at all, very creaky and mattress felt like it had springs sticking in you. Bathroom - toilet is sloping forward and the flush didn't want to work properly. Shower was awkward and the shower head is broken so it leaked. The mechanism to change to the tap not working. Bath still had several hairs from previous visitors. Shower curtain smells of urine. The floor was dirty, I thought it was just old but I took a wet wipe to it and it was filthy. Dodgy floorboards, especially in livingroom. Steep and uneven steps to property which I almost fell down carrying my luggage, I really think there should be more notice of these as it reads that there are steps but there is actually a warning sign that they are uneven.
