Gold 10 - Cornish Coastal Retreats

Fire extinguisher has not been checked for 6 years, shower facilities awful, caravan smelled and was unclean, facilities such as the oven and boiler not at all working and the place was riddled with mold. One of my party has gone home with significant respiratory symptoms from this. I'm absolutely horrified that this has been advertised on booking.com and it is a disgrace that anyone thinks it's appropriate to sleep in. Every single set of bedding was dirty in some way, all radiators were rusted and the soft furnishings were all mouldy, it's a health hazard. This would be an illegal rental if a tenancy agreement was present, I don't understand how they're getting away with this, the park reception is already aware of all these issues and states has been ongoing a while.

All 3 beds mouldy on damp wet slats!! We couldn’t sleep in the master room as the bed isn’t suitable to accommodate 2 adults without thinking it was going to break! Mould in all rooms, smell of wet dog throughout. Very cold in Feb with only 2 small heaters to take the edge of the temp! We had to sleep in the single beds room with a baby, the caravan was damp!! We contacted the owner about the toilet floor dipping and we had to avoid standing on it just in case it fell through! We contacted the owner multiple times to explain we wasn’t happy with accommodation however we was ignored. Not even acknowledging our concerns about the hygiene. The sofas was black from stains, smell of wet dog, mould and damp everywhere. Beds not suitable to sleep on so yeah. You can tell the owner doesn’t care and just wants to make money. Worst place I’ve stayed in on bookings.com.

Caravan was dated but we didn't mind that. Beds were comfy. Location was good.

Our shower was - as my son put it - colder than the sea. We contacted the owner who said she had tried to contact a plumber who may or may not have been to the property but in any case did not sort out the problem. She told me that she'd spent the night in hospital due to having been involved in a car accident so obviously we didn't want to cause too much of a fuss, but a nice shower after a day of walking along the coast path in the heat and before going out for a meal on our wedding anniversary would have been nice. We did ask for a partial refund as a good will gesture since this was more inconvenient than say a door that doesn't shut properly but we didn't hear anything once we had left. I wouldn't have left a bad review if we had got some money back. Looking at older reviews this is an ongoing problem so it's not like the owner isn't aware of it. One of the sofas felt like it was about to fall apart. Loads of plastic plants, pepper was out of date, place needs a thorough clean.

Like the location very peaceful and near to places to visit in Penzance and St Ives

The oven did not work as no heat was there, the fridge was lick and the shower was producing too hot or cold temperatures to take a shower The photo of the main bedroom matches but.not the second bedroom Could do a small freezer

Vielleicht auch wetterbedingt ( jeden Tag mal Regen) fühlte sich innen alles klamm an trotz regelmäßigem Lüften
