Rivera Family Airport Apartments

The bathroom smelled of sewer water. There was zero soundproofing against street traffic and other rooms. The so-called shuttle to the airport was completely botched. After waiting 15 minutes I had to call my own Uber, which was half the price the Hotel charged.

Excellent staff, clean room with modern bathroom with suicide shower, sink and microwave in kitchen, comfortable bed. Very close to the airport.

The steps leading to the adjacent building were steep and very narrow. I had difficulty navigating the stairs with a suitcase and backpack.

Close to the airport very convenient for overnight to catch early flight.

Noisy if you get first room N1, the road stays active while night

It is close to the airport, car rental, and restaurants. Perfect for the last day of my trip.

The stairs to the upper levels are uncomfortably narrow, but I was able to carry my bags to my room without a problem.

The “apartment” only had a microwave. No other cooking method, no refrigerator of any size. I had to throw out all the food I needed to cook, and the ones that needed refrigeration, like cheese and milk. Noisy until midnight because of loud music across the narrow street from a bar/restaurant.

This is the best place to stay in san jose for a short stay really close to the airport Samuel is the best he picked us up after a long flight from Ireland & checked us in really fast what a gentleman & there a car rental only right round the corner if u plan on travelling around costa rica it really is right round the corner....

Breakfast was good and it is near the airport. The price makes this hotel a good value. Our flights arrived late, so we only needed a place to sleep for one night.

The entire hotel is kind of old and run down. There wasn't any AC in our room, although the fan worked well. The "airport shuttle" is just a guy with a car. My daughter's flight arrived after midnight, and the shuttle was not available. This wasn't a problem, as she was able to use Uber for just a couple of dollars.
