AiR Waterfront Nikis Apartment

The location - in the heart of Thessaloniki. The flat - just great, spacious, comfortable, cosy, with art spirit. The view - just lovely. The host - very helpful and caring.

I liked everything, but I will mention two things for other visitors to get prepared: 1) one of the bedrooms is facing the Main Street and it is not perfectly quiet on the weekend. If you need zen-rest, hearing the splashes of a butterflies’ wings, that is not the best place for you. If you want to feel the heart beat of Thessaloniki - that is the right place. 2) the flat was so interesting for the kids, so that they did not want to go out for a walk, they wanted to spend all the time inside. And hopefully the neighbours can bear all that noise from the kids play :)

First of all I thank the host Stamatios . He was a great host with detailed explanation about everything. The location was perfect .

The third bed was at up and it was so difficult to climb.

Thessaloniki is a wonderful city and we really enjoyed our time there. The location of this apartment is great overlooking the gulf. The apartment is unusual and quirky in its decor but unfortunately we didn’t find it comfortable.

Our biggest difficulty with this apartment was that it only has air conditioning in 2 rooms. This left the living and dining room unbearably hot in this weather. The bathroom is very small, but the shower is good. The kitchen is disorganised, and only has a small fridge which doesn’t work very well. The beds and pillows are not comfortable. The utility room was full with bags of sheets and towels and is very untidy. The overall standard of cleanliness in this apt really needs to be improved.
