We loved the bed and balcony and Michu who was amazing and helped us so much. Nice pool area. Would recommend big time..We will be back

It was near the train station

We were slightly late so the owner left befire we arrived. This was a studio apartment and not 1 bedroom apartment. There was no air con, no dining area, the freezer door could not open wide enough to be able to use the drawers inside, there was only one dinner knife. Bathroom was poor. We I could go on and on

Good location. Worth it the price. Easy access to the beach and other towns. Swimming pool access. Big terrace. Very comfortable bed.

The apartment was easy to get to and from the airport, about 20 minutes by train and about 15 minutes by car/taxi. The train station El Penillo is about an 8 minute walk away. The apartment is spotlessly clean, small but with everything you could need, the kingsize memory foam bed and pillows are very comfortable, tv great, fully stocked kitchen with huge fridge, coffee machine, toaster, sandwich maker, microwave, hob, blender and the WI-FI was great too. Theres a shower and a washing machine which was a godsend, it also allowed as to wash towels and sheets as we needed as well. There's a wardrobe for hanging storage with hangers and room for suitcases in the bottom, with some open shelves and a cupboard for other items, we had plenty of space for our stay of 2 weeks. The balcony is a decent size and a real suntrap with wonderful sea views and views over the pool area. The pool area is great with plenty of sun beds, a snack bar with pool table. The pool and garden were never too busy. The apartment is situated in a quiet residential area about 15 minute walk from the beach (down-hill) but has 2 decent supermarkets close by, a general shop selling everything from beach towels, hats and snacks etc and a few bars and restaurants. The Marina of Benalmádena is a similar distance away with lots more choice as well. We walked into Torremolinos for the bars which is about a 35 minute walk but you could get the train if you wanted as its only 2 stops. The cable car to the top of the mountain was a similar distance away in the opposite direction and just 1 stop away on the train. Whilst there's no parking available in site, there's lots of on street parking nearby. Overall for the location, size, facilities this apartment was really good value and I'd happily stay again.

The air-conditioning wasn't working when we arrived but the owners had bought a fan which was great but on the hotter afternoons we missed being able to cool down after having been out all day - freezing a bottle of water and putting it behind the fan did help though. There are some minor aesthetic issues that could be improved such as the flooring adjacent to the bathroom where the shower leaked but for the price it really didn't bother us.
