Hartington House

We often have to visit Woodhall Spa for golf and I can say this is the best apartment we have stayed in. The location is great, a short walk to the shops and not far from local small supermarket and best of all it's right opposite the delicious cake shop. The apartment was spotless on arrival and presentation was lovely. They had left some milk and tea bags etc which were gratefully received. The apartment was spacious. There was only 3 of us but there is definitely enough room for 4 people. The main bed was super comfy and big. The sofa bed was really easy to turn into a bed and our daughter said it was very comfy. We always cook our own meals when travelling and I must say that the kitchen was the best we'd ever had. It was well stocked with all the utensils, pans and cooking dishes that you'd need, and the folder with the appliances handbooks in was a real help. We would definitely stay here again when in Woodhall Spa.

Clean, fresh, and tidy. All rooms were of a good size. All in all the facilities were good. The area its situated in is lovely with good bars and restaurants along with numerous local shops for your daily needs

The shower could be a little more powerful though not essential as it serves the purpose. I feel as lovely as Hartington House is £199 was a bit steep for 2 nights

The location was perfect for restaurants and the local shops. We were there for a wedding at Abbey Farm and the apartment was only 5 minutes away from the venue. Due to the extreme hot weather, we were concerned that the apartment would be hot. It was not. A welcome relief!

If only the beds had been comfortable everything would have been perfect! They were Sealy mattresses, so not cheap, but the mattress was too firm and we could not sleep due to pain in what ever part of our body we lay on. A mattress topper desperately needed here! If you have more than 1 car, there is not space to park in your designated slot!
