Everything was perfect. Nice view, spotlessly clean, lacked for nothing. Enjoyed the sherry.

Nothing. Recommendation for the not so adventurous driver - if you don’t like driving a long and winding mountain pass (2 hours) through the Namaqua National Park (not well sign-posted either) - start your journey from Garies, a much shorter, and direct gravel road. We left from Springbok. Saw some ostriches, gemsbok and had to stop to allow a whole colony of dassies to waddle across—tiny baby bringing up the rear like the bravest little straggler.

Let me say this...it will be very difficult for us to stay in Hondeklipbay if we cannot stay in this cottage. Its spacious, it has EVERYHTING you need. It has the most beautiful view and the short distance to the beach makes it perfect that you can still experience the tranquility at home. The hosts make it so personal every time we come to visit.
