Dogstone Cottage

An outstanding place in a very remote town that seems like at the end of the world. The braais (BBQs) with the sound of the ocean and the darkness of the tiny town nights were a dream! Very kind and warm welcome by the owner!

It is not a dislike, rather an advice for the visitors: be ready for a 50 km gravel road which is the only way to get to the town. If you have a choice of vehicle, opt for a 4X4!

The cottage has a beautiful view of the ocean. Everything you need for a weekend away is located in the cottage. The host is so friendly and you feel right at home.

This cottage is equipped with everything you could ever need it truly is a home from home The location is excellent you have a lovely view of the sea from the front and Sharon was really helpful even did washing for us

This is a lovely very well equipped cottage in Hondeklip Baai. Sharon, the host, was most welcoming and helpful with regard to the facilities and town. We had a most comfortable stay.

Everything was great

The view from the patio as well as from the 2 rooms were beautiful. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the beach and a restaurant. The cottage was amazing with lots of little extras to make our stay more enjoyable. There were sherry, coffee, tea , sugar and even milk in the fridge. Wish we could stay for a few days.

Hondeklip baai was amazing, dogstone cottage was clean, tidy. And well kept. Generous asswell.

Locality overlooking Hondeklipbaai. The cottage, spotless clean, with lots of detail and everything you wil exspect in a modern city dwelling house. The manager who was so helpful to get us settled in. She even did some washing for us and just being a great host.

Nothing to dislike.

Our stay at Dogstone Cottag were amazing. This was by far the best and cleanest place we have ever stayed. We were welcomed wit a complementary sherry. Everything we needed was there. We were welcomed by Sharon and everything was explained. There was even a first aid kit if needed. Salomè I have to complement you on your lovely place. Thank you for everything. This was absolutely amazing, excellent and exceptional. Everything in tip top condition, clean and you thought of everything. I can see why Dogstone Cottag is rated four star accommodation. This is definitely the place to stay when you visit Hondeklipbaai.
