As we walked in we were greeted by the fresh smell of clean linen. Sharon was an excellent hostess! Setting was perfect.

"Dogstone cottage is a well appointed, equipped cottage."

The cottage was well equipped and comfortable, and there was even a welcome sherry! It was amazing getting into a warm bed with electric blankets. Sharon, the hostess was warm and so helpful in assisting us with booking a table for dinner.

We took the first turnoff at Garies to Hondeklipbaai, and the road was very bad after the recent heavy rainfall. It would have been helpful to get best route information before depating.

The long gravel road is really not for sedans... finally getting there was great though.

The house was so beautiful, a home away from home! The perfect little holiday cottage. We would've loved to stay a bit longer.

Unfortunately there was no wifi, so we couldn't continue with work online. Telkom seems to have problems finding the gravel road to Hondeklipbaai. Which on that note is also quite bad, so you definitely need an SUV or 4x4 to get to the town.

"Definitely a must stay when visiting the West Coast"

Everything about this little house is so cozy and in reach. You have all the amenities you want so you don't have to bring everything with you when you come and visit. I loved the deck with the sea view and relaxing with a book on one of the deck chairs is a must.

I liked all the things about this accommodation
