"you get what you pay for!"

5.0

We took this as it was pretty much the cheapest option on our search, so it is reasonably priced, but you do get what you pay for.

it was very basic and cold (not in temperature but in overall coziness, it wasn’t a place to settle in for the night) it was clean to a satisfactory standard, it’s just a bit un welcoming. There is no info on the area which is run down, we didn’t find a nice pub etc, it would be good to have that info.

"A relaxing stay in a clean, tidy and well furnished flat on the ground floor"

10.0

The room was as in the pictures, compact and yet we felt we still had room. The bathroom has a rain shower head and easy to use temp control etc. sink above the toilet cistern helps with water efficiency. Thoughtfully provided fans available for when it's too hot. Cutlery, linen and hairdryer in the rooms on arrival. My very fussy daughter will go back there happily. It is central shopping area, which mostly opens at the end of the week. There are 3 major supermarkets one within easy walking distance. Whilst parking on the street is restricted until after 6pm the locals told me that traffic wardens are not that frequent and if you don't get back until later anyway? I didn't get a ticket. It was a good base to go out from. Camarthen cinema was good on the rainy day. Manobier beach was lovely, had free toilets and an ice cream van, do take change for the parking though. The beds were comfy, everything was very clean and tidy and there were teabags and coffee on arrival. I logged into the smart TV with my netflix for the evening so had more than normal TV for the nights too. It is on the ground floor which as it said basement flat was pleasantly surprising.

If I had to nit pick I would have liked an outdoor sitting area but I didn't pick this flat for that so my choice. There is a short walk to the pier so we got to sit outside anyways.
