GORDON's SHORE LUXURY APARTMENTS - Solar Powered

Great spot and the property management went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Great little touches like welcome chocolates and rusks. Fridge was stocked with orange juice and milk and there were loads of little things like body moisturiser and shower gel throughout the house. The view is out of this world and the space is large and comfortable. Definitely a highlight on our trip to SA.

Should have booked for a bit longer.

Location was amazing and the view was breathtaking.

Property needs maintenance and tidying up.

Originally booked a Camps Bay hotel but this fabulous gem appeared which was incredible value at a quarter of the price for a four night stay. Michelle met us for our 2pm checkin and gave a comprehensive introduction to the apartment and facilities. She was also our contact via WhatsApp during our stay should we have any queries or issues (which we had none). The apartment is as described and cannot be fully appreciated until you stay there it has very much the WOW factor. The views from our 2nd floor apartment across False Bay were incredible from both bedroom and lounge / balcony (especially on an evening with a glass of wine and some food on the gas BBQ). The pool area and jacuzzi had great facilities (another BBQ, kitchen area, bathroom and large table for entertaining) with plenty of towels etc Secure parking was provided in the garage below. The housekeeper was very helpful and discreet and kept the property immaculate daily. Washing and ironing was available if requested for a small charge which was appreciated. Gordon's Bay is an ideal base for visiting the other side of the Cape (Betty's Bay, Hermanus, Cape Agulhas and the various wine makers). I would highly recommend the Gordons Shore Lux Chic (Floor 2) Apartment and fingers crossed we have the opportunity again to stay again. The Bowie's of Hull

Good view. Spacious.

A lot of poor maintenance. Loose taps. Bedside lights, where is the switch?! Many wall fittings are loose. A shame that small things spoil the flat.

Position.

Noise until late at night from other occupants and lift usage from other occupants at night most annoying. The need for so many keys to enter the property were necessary for security reasons and we were reluctant to leave any door unlocked whilst away from the apartment which resulted in no cleaning during our stay. We were told to leave one of the doors unlocked but this was not a comfortable arrangement and surely a key was available to the hostess to gain entry?

Really enjoyed our weekend at the penthouse. The staff was so friendly, the penthouse was clean.. Beautiful view , enjoyed the sunset and sun rise.
