Very comfortable and well equipped.

The location was really good, 30 to 40 min drive to the top beaches in Pembrokeshire. The house had everything that you may need for a holiday.

Although the bed was one of the most comfortable ever, the pillows were practically non-existent. The house wasn't dusted.

Friendly host who had thought of everything you could possibly need for a perfect stay in their lovely lodge. The place was immaculate inside and out, the furniture was smart and comfortable, the grounds were well cared for. We were allowed to take our dog through their sheep field which he loved and they even provided a blanket, bowl and treats for the dog. We have stayed in many places in Pembrokeshire and I can honestly say this was the best one and I've paid a lot more to stay in less well cared for places. I would highly recommend thistledown lodge to anyone and plan to return there myself.

Nothing everything was great

The lodge was fantastic in every way. The location was great for Skomer and the local beaches. Communication from booking to leaving was fantastic and made the stay so easy, owner was very friendly and helpful with local knowledge too. The lodge itself was so very well equipped, it made for a very comfortable stay - hob, microwave, air fryer, dishwasher and a good supply of crockery and cutlery. Lovely use of space inside and great outdoor seating area. When next in the area we would love to stay again, and would highly recommend a stay at Thistledown Lodge.

Clean, comfortable and pleasantly furnished in a contemporary style.

I had to guess which entrance to use when we first arrived because I think the word ‘Lodge’ was hidden by another sign. However, everything was really straightforward after that.

Everything , one of the best places we have stayed, lovely outside area , such a comfy bed , it was perfect
