This accomodation is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is a converted barn and is very well equipped. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and have included lots of information about the surrounding area. The tea, coffee, milk and welshcakes left for us on arrival were very much appreciated. As this is the only rental property at the site, the location is quiet and peaceful. It faces away from the main house, with it's own gate to enter, so it is very private. It is surrounded by well kept, pretty gardens, with lovely views over the surrounding countryside. The hosts have provided areas in the grounds to sit out on sunny days. We very much enjoyed our stay at Thistledown Lodge and hope to return for a longer stay next time.
