Cozy studio in central location of Heraklion

The location was very good, just 10-15 walk to the port, main bus station and center of town. The room is small but very good for solo and was exceptionally clean and complete.

Nothing much..maybe a roll of paper towels in the kitchen.

le bruit des avions, des voitures et des motos, difficulté pour se garer dans la rue elle-même, plus de places dans la rue Titou Geogiadou.

This studio was perfect for my needs as I wanted to go sightseeing. It is a couple of minutes walk from the bus station and a short stroll into town. The studio is very thoughtfully appointed with all the facilities you need. Nearby there is a supermarket and bakeries.

I really couldn't fault anything.

Апартаментът се намира на 5 мин от автогарата и на 5 мин от спирката за Кносос, на 10 мин до Археологическия музей и на 10 мин до центъра. Мястото е просто чудесно. Ключовете се получават чрез кутия на вратата, което е много удобно. Собственичката е повече от чудесна. Макар, че живее в чужбина, комуникацията с нея е много бърза, а роднините на място са на разположение при проблем. Апартаментът е супер оборудван, не е голям, но ако сте за кратък престой е съвсем ОК.

Банята е доста малка.

Non c’è aria condizionata fortunatamente non faceva troppo caldo in quel periodo, il bagno molto piccolo, con un lavandino davvero scomodo

Un emplacement idéal, 3 min de la ligne de bus, 3 min de la gare routière et une dizaine du centre-ville ou du port Vénitien. Accès très simple et plein de petites attentions à boire et à manger…Appartement parfaitement équipé et une petite table extérieure bien agréable. La famille de la propriétaire est juste à côté et très disponible. Excellente communication, rien à dire, si ce n’est une grande recommandation !

Rien car même sans climatisation, il ne fait pas trop chaud avec un ventilateur de plafond appréciable et efficace.

the location is unbeatable : 10mins walk to ferry port and archaeological museum, 2mins walk to big supermarket AB Vasilopoulos and bus stop for Knossos (and archaeological museum). a quiet residential neighbourhood where i felt safe walking back at night. host contacted me 5 days before arrival with instructions to pick up the key from a lockbox at the door of the apartment. also accommodated my request for early checkin. checkout was simply leaving the key in the lockbox. gave me information on exactly how to find the apartment. she also followed up on whether i was settled in ok. small studio but equiped with everything for a comfortable 4 day's stay. host was so generous and thoughtful : providing 2 large bottles of mineral water in the fridge, a loaf of bread, lots of single use packets of jam, butter, sugar. washing machine was a bonus and in oct my washing dried a day after hanging out on the balcony drying racks provided. there is a small private sitting corner on the balcony overlooking the street and neighbourhood apartments for smokers. there was even proper toiletry in the bathroom (i brought my own) and first aid kit.

nothing really for me but picky travellers might want to be aware : - you'll have to carry your bags up 1 flight of stairs to the apartment - lighting in the hallways is on timing / sensor and in oct it didn't always come on when i got back in the late afternoon (i had torch on my phone) - it's a quiet neighbourhood but you will hear it if the occassional car or motorbike passes by on the street below.
