THE ROOF HOUSE - appartamento piazza grande

We absolutely loved staying here. The location was superb, right on the main piazza at the very top of the town with great views over the piazza, town and countryside from the windows facing three sides of the property. We loved the style of the apartment which felt like a real home, with all the pictures and objects around, as if the owner had just popped out. The kitchen was really well-equipped and we ate in for two nights of our stay, loving the big kitchen table and two balconies. Access to the property was made very straightforward by the little video which showed us how to get in and communication with our host through Whatsapp worked really well. We loved it.

You do have to be aware of the changing levels within the apartment especially if, like us, you need to get up to go to the toilet in the night. We were in the main bedroom, so didn't have to cross over the main staircase down, but if you were in the second bedroom, overlooking the square, it would be very different. Some new pillows and sheets would be good, as the present ones have seen better days, also some more wine glasses, there were only three, all oddments, which unfortunately, we reduced to two with a breakage when washing up on the last morning (sorry ). But these are minor quibbles, about a memorable place to stay.

It was absolutely the most beautiful apartment we've ever been at deals were incredible.

Parking it's a nightmare around there

The 14th century building will, of course, have some rough edges. Everything is old but very well looked after. Long steep staircase up to appartment. That said, I actually did like these points too

The place is fabulous! It’s hard to find the right words to explain what a truly special experience it was! We felt like we were in a movie or a video game, the apartment is so beautiful and complex with all the rooms and wonderful terraces.

The apartment was great in every way and in a great location. We especially liked the balcony and the views. We will be back!!!

The tree house was one of the most unique, almost magical accommodation that we have stayed in. It had a great location with restaurants all around. The house was well equipped, shower was great and the beds so comfortable. Our party was two couples and there was plenty of space with a big room with comfortable couches, a large kitchen dining area and a terrace that was magical at night for sitting with a coffee or glass of wine. I recommend it without reservation.

We loved our stay here. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It is really a special place - feels like staying in a historic home. It is very centrally located, we found it easy to park nearby and the views from the terrace are spectacular.
