It was a very short walk to the beach and we had lots of penguin encounters at our local beach. Kirsty, the manager was very helpful and we appreciated her handling of everything.

The main bedroom doesn’t have 4 walls (there are shutter blinds between the room and the entertainment space) which is problematic if you want quiet in the room. despite having excellent appliances, some of the amenities were not well maintained (The outdoor veranda table was broken and unusable, the grass in the garden was long etc). Finally, the block that the apartment is in has a lot of stairs and various doors which are difficult to open and close with one hand which makes coming and going with children or luggage difficult.

Where do I start! This was a beautiful property with a gorgeous view. The host (Kirsty) was exceptional and gave us lots of information as well as a very welcoming introduction. This place is a hidden gem, minutes from boulders beach beach but even better, one minute away from another beach where you can observe the sunrise and sunset with the penguins without the crowds. Great little touches such as international plugs provided and a welcome bottle of wine as well as an Easter chocolate on departure. You must stay here!

Our stay was amazing! Kirsty was an exceptional host and she made sure we had everything to be comfortable. She was easily reachable to address our questions. The location was perfect to explore the penguin beach (2 min walk down the road) as well as Cape Point (30 min drive). It was also a short 2 min drive to Simon’s Town. The apartment was very well equipped, bright, clean, modern and the views were amazing! We definitely enjoyed our stay and recommend the place.
