The host was great. She explained some highlights of the local area. We’re glad we followed up on her recommendation to hike up the nearby bike track. The property was a quiet and very comfortable retreat, and a great jumping off point to explore the Abel Tasman National Park.

"Idyllic rural retreat only minutes away from town"

Friendly host, views in all directions, bbq and eating area outdoors, fantastic bed and linen, nicely appointed room (plus board games in the cupboard).

In our room if you are shorter than average you need to use the provided footstool to open the microwave (and access glassware).

A lovely quiet location with wonderful views. The welcome was both warm and informative. My room was spotlessly clean and well thought out with some nice decorative touches. The bed was very comfortable with very nice bedding. A great stay.
