Está situado en una zona de mar por lo que hay bastantes mosquitos, cosa que nos ha hecho pasar las noches mal debido sl calor por no poder abrir las ventanas y muy pendientes de los mosquitos y los picotazos. Como recomendación pondría unas mosquiteras tanto en el salón como en la habitación. Haría la estancia mucho más relajada.

Vicini un po' troppo rumorosi

It was well located and it was a big house, and it was next to a supermarket and there was no noise in the area.

The first impression of the house is that it is dark and it is arranged old. We didn't like that the apartment was poorly ventilated, and the apartment wasn't very clean.

The location is excellent — even within the already calm and charming village of Ponta Delgada. The apartment's design in general is great, it was very comfortable, and we had everything we needed and more (like salt, coffee, a drip coffee maker, and other kitchen essentials). We slept very well overall, and the car was always parked in a safe, quiet spot each night, even when no space was available right next to the building.

Receiving the same check-out reminder three times through various platforms (email, WhatsApp, Booking.com, then repeated) — especially that we made it well before the agreed 10am — felt a bit excessive, almost like "get out already". We also found a bug in the under-sink cabinet that I'd prefer not to identify here. While we were able to create some natural airflow in the upstairs area and felt comfortable, other guests might really appreciate having air conditioning — especially since it's more effective at dehumidifying the space. ((Edited to respond to the property manager’s message, since replies aren't possible here.) We did use the dehumidifier downstairs during the daytime, and it definitely helped. Of course, we never expected it to be effective while turned off — implying otherwise is quite condescending. Please don’t assume your guests lack basic logic.). One night, a neighbor decided to be active between midnight and 4am, and we could hear everything — so the walls are definitely thin. In fact, we later realized we could even hear snoring from next door. (Edit 2: We kept all the windows closed at night, yet the noise was still clearly audible. So again, the issue likely comes down to the walls, not the windows. Suggesting that guests don’t understand how open windows work is again unnecessarily dismissive and, frankly, a bit insulting.) That said, despite these small issues, we still found this apartment to be a really good choice on the island.
