Scenic Comfort

Very well-equipped apartment, at least everything that we needed, was clean. Next to the apartment is a shop and bar. Very calm place to rest. Excellent location to start exploring the north side of the island. Fully recommended.

Big apartment, the kitchen is greatly equipped (all you need, even oven and sandwich maker) and the location is great. The communication was great. We liked the smart TV with connection to YouTube and Netflix.

The kitchen could be cleaner, everything was a bit sticky. The bed is pretty small and creaky and the water boiler makes annoying noise which was prevented by turning it off, but then the water was cold 🥹

The location is good and it is spacious.

The bedroom is upstairs, where the room becomes pretty quick hot. No mosquito net on the window if you want to sleep with windows open and no air conditioning.

The apartment was nice, very clean, well equipped and in a quiet area. The hosts were very responsive and we had clear instructions about everything.

Good area if you like the quiet. There is plenty of parking on the street, so no stress regarding this aspect. The apartment was in great condition 👍🏻

Apartment had everything we needed, space, comfortable bed, pillows and sofa. Everything was clean and in great working condition. Especially appreciated the free parking as we had a rented car.

the location was actually better than we expected, besides being far away from funchal, ponta delgada is an incredible place to stay if you desire to explore the whole madeira island. the view from the balcony is amazing. you have a minimarket right next to the apartment. the apartment has a huge sofa bed in the living room (enough space for 2 people) and very comfortable. the kitchen is good too, upstairs you have 3 bed and a bathroom with enough space. we bought soap and sponges for the dishes but the apartment had it so no need to buy that! also enough towels were provided. very friendly neighbours and locals :)

the dishes and cutlery were a little bit dirty so we had to clean them first before using it. the freezer had a really unpleseant smell, but thankfully we didn't need to freeze anything so we kept it closed and the smell didn't pass through. in the bedrooms the storage smelled a liitle bit of mold, since it is a very humid house, but the host left a dehumidifier and advised to use it. unfortunately in the last day the wifi didn't work, although it worked perfectly during the rest of the stay, i think we were just unlucky. also as its a local complex with many apartments it is important to not make noise since you can have side/down neighbours. if youre travelling with more than 3 people keep in mind that when showering you might need to wait around 30 mins in between the showers since the water can take a little bit to warm up (this is very common in portuguese houses so it is not necessarily a bad thing besides this it was warned by the host)
