Mare Gaia Apartments

Can not give this place enough stars. The location was perfect close walk to the market, bakery and area with all the shops and restaurants. The apartment was beautiful and spotless. The beds were super comfortable. Our host Dimi was the most accommodating and patient person. She is incredible and her service is impeccable. If you visit Skiathos this is a place you must stay.

We absolutely loved the top deck of the penthouse suite. The view over skiathos with the added bonus of the spa just made it magical.

Everything was exactly as we read and saw on the pictures. We had the penthouse apartment and took advantage as much as possible of the terrace with 360 degree amazing views (even when the mid-May evenings were chilly). Check in and out by Sofia was easy and the location of the apartment was perfect as it was peaceful yet still handy for everything. This was a little luxury on the island before starting our main holiday and would definitely recommend.

The location of this very neat and clean well furnished and equipped apartment was very central and close to all amenities - restaurant, bakery, shops and small convenient stores. The basic requirements like clean bedding, towels, dish washing liquid, washing detergent etc was available on arrival. The host Asterios did address our requirements immediately when requested. We had a lovely stay and can definitely recommend this lovely apartment.

We were confused by the continuous change in hosts - three changes in the days prior to our arrival. We would have appreciated more information / pamflets / maps etc available at the apartment regarding the available amenities, closest beach, car hire, taxi service, town's information centre( still to be found!) and the closest bigger supermarket. We did however address this with our host as a suggestion for improvement when we left. It was apparent that the host was still very inexperienced and viewed negative feedback or concerns as personal such as the front door lock that broken and took at least 20 minutes to open every time - at the end all the residents just left it open!

Great location just a couple of minutes walk to the harbour. The apartment was very clean and well presented.

We had a couple of issues which were addressed to our satisfaction which was great.

Fantastic location, less that a 5 min walk to all the action but still on a very quiet street. The apartment has everything you would need and the hosts are great!

Great location in the old town. We stayed in the penthouse apartment which had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was great to give us the chance to spread out a little. The apartment was well appointed with the basics needed for a longer stay and the rooftop jacuzzi (not heated) was a nice touch. We also appreciated the washing machine and drying rack provided. Our host Sofia was very helpful in answering any questions we had during our stay and made sure we had everything we needed. Would highly recommend!

Great location. Very comfortable and clean (cleaners arrived on the third day, and did a brilliant job). It was also great to have a washing machine in the apartment, which ensured that we had no concerns about running out of clean clothes.

Location was excellent, wifi good Netflix nice lounge.
