the animals

NO HEAT!!! Worst conditions I’ve ever encountered. This is nothing more than a $2,000 storage bldg stuck in the middle of a field. The conditions are extremely primitive.

The animals were the ONLY positive thing about our stay.

WORST STAY EVER! ANYWHERE!! (1) There was NO HEAT - 3 DAYS in December- NO HEAT! We had to go buy a $100 space heater to avoid freezing to death. (2) There was a major WATER LEAK in the bathroom. The floor was covered w/water our entire stay (3) The Shower was unavailable due to the water leak & cold weather (4) When we called the owner on day 1, they came & flipped a breaker for the heater. It came on, but only blew COLD AIR (5) Owner was a complete JERK! Never fixed anything & refused to acknowledge my calls/texts after that. Also refused any reimbursement. (6) This location is full of trash & old dangerous farm equipment, & it has holes in the porch. No weather striping around the door… you can see outside, which allowed cold air in (reminder: NO HEAT). The Idea & Concept is Fantastic, but the Animals were the only ones that lived up to their expectations. The stay here was an absolute NIGHTMARE!!!

We loved the Donkeys and horse! They were very tame and so beautiful! The cabin was perfect! Most comfortable bed! I wanted to take it home with me. Lol was so cozy and refreshing to get away for the night. Will be back and have already told all our friends and family!

No complaints or dislikes.

Privacy and security were and will always be top priority for myself, but this level met my standards above and beyond what anyone can reasonably imagine. As I travel, small acts of kindness are rare, nothing hypocritical here. Honest hardworking faith based owner on site. I only wish I could stay the rest of my days on planet earth, but I have a patient in California.
